In society today people concentrate on gaining profit in any activity they participate in. This want for profit has evolved into a need only because society has conditioned people to think this way. Sadly, the want for profit has turned people greedy. For this reason, profit and greed coincide. If greed is considered immoral in a society, then profit must also be immoral. Profit is a necessary evil in terms of morality. Breaking even would be the moral sibling of gaining profit, which forces profit to become an immoral factor in our society.
