…blame for profit’s bad name should be rightfully placed on people with poor moral character, and not on profit or business itself.  There has been a serious unwarranted backlash against entrepreneurs, companies, and people who are interested in bettering their lives through taking financial risks in the hopes of a positive return because of this misplaced blame.

…So what does this really all come down to?  Self-Accountability.

…To be accountable to yourself and your actions is so important to good ethics.  Without the honesty that comes along with self-monitoring and a sense of responsibility for your own actions which starts with the individual, this moral practice cannot be translated into larger organizations such as businesses, government, learning institutions, clubs, or associations.  It starts at the individual level and is learned upwards.
